All over. Amanda (Amanda Higbee, CZT) sent me this picture on Saturday. It was something she had been working on for a few days. Amanda says that she saw something like this on line, and wanted to give it a try. I asked her which tangle it was, and she wasn’t sure… she thinks Cyme is the closest. To me, it reminds me of Garlic Cloves, or Ravel. But no matter what you call it, I love it! The color variations keep an all-over design from becoming boring!
Upside down. Originally, when I started drawing this tile, it was oriented 180 degrees from this position. As I was working on it, and rotating it around to draw various parts, I realized that I liked it better this way. Zentangle drawn on Official Zentangle tile using a black, Micron pen. Elegance. This tile is unusual in that it doesn‘t have my regular border around it. I wanted to try a very rounded, loopy design because I thought it would appear more elegant with the black and gold tangles. Zentangle drawn on Official Zentangle tile using a black, Micron pen. A party on a tile. Beads, flowers, bold costumes and wild music. To me, this tile feels like a party! Zentangle drawn on Strathmore Bristol Vellum using a black Micron pen. Tangles: Chillon Cyme Ixorus Poke-Root Raddox Rain Scoodle Warble
