Who’s your favorite fashionista? I’m sure Brie Blanc knows all about them and has some strong opinions about their clothing choices!
Often, Impkins tell you want they want to be, and what accessories they wish to have while they are being made. That was certainly the case with this one! She wanted an outfit that was high design and was hot pink trimmed with green, and I had no idea how to make it.
As I was crocheting her Type 2 Arms* with the Standing Body Type 2* and Long Droopy Ears*, I got a kind of a vision of what she wanted, so I did a bit of thinking and came up with the outfit you see. I didn’t have any patterns, I just winged it. All of her clothing items are removable, so you may see her dressed in differnt outfits as time goes by. I used the Bow Tie* pattern for the hair bow, and attached it to a small, clear rubber band to make it removable also.
This Impkin also boasts a first for me: positionable arms! I used a piece of pipecleaner, folded in half, and inserted into the arms after they were attached to the body. I bent the ends of the pipecleaners around the neck support and completed the figure. This worked great, and the arms no longer stick straight out from the sides on my creations.
I have a feeling she’ll be asking for additional fashions in the future, so you’ll probably be seeing this little French poodle again.
