Sometimes, you just need some bunny to love!
With everything going on in the world, I am having some issues with making art. However, I don’t want to let that stop my creativity completely.
I’ve been making masks for myself and my husband, and now I will be making more this week for a few friends.
But over the weekend, I decided to sew something just for the fun of it!
I’ve had the Making Luna Lapin book for a while. I packed it up and put it in storage with all my other sewing books. And now I can find it. But I did have this companion book, Sewing Luna Lapin's Friends on my book shelves at home. I discovered that the pattern for Luna, and some different clothing options was in this book, also!
So over the weekend I drafted a new pattern (because I have to make her out of fabric) and found some nice, off-white weavers cloth to use for her body.
I got this far, as you can see in the photo.
I will be working on her some more during the week, in the evenings, after I have finished sewing masks for the day!
