This is my interpretation of the Princess prompt, The Princess of Baths. One of my favorite things in the whole world is being able to soak a relaxing bath. I think it is a fabulous way to pamper oneself and a great addition to a self-care routine.
I knew, right away what I wanted it to look like: pink, girly, bubbly and both the duck and the princess would need to have crowns!
The words here are:
Amanda Panda, pudding and pie,
Kissed the boys and made them sigh.
Then she ran home, and had a bath,
read a book, and took a nap!
I adapted this old rhyme for another Princess that I know who loves to spend hours in her bubble baths!
There must be quite a few things a hot bath won’t cure, but I don’t know many of them.
– Sylvia Plath
Everything is a miracle. It’s a miracle one does not dissolve in one’s bath like a lump of sugar.
– Pablo Picasso
This is my happy place!

This is another layout that incorporates interference paint. Each of the bubbles was painted with it, then the various colors were added. So as you turn the pages, the bubbles appear to be floating over the page with a soapy sheen.
