I wanted to participate in Project Pack #6 from Zentangle, but I couldn’t purchase anything extra right now. However, after seeing what was in the kit, I decided to make my own small book!
The pages are made from Canson Multimedia paper. And the cover is made from Stonehenge Kraft paper. I thought it would be fun to tangle on the cover and the brown color should work nicely.
I even stitched all of the pages together, which I don’t normally do for short-term projects!

After I cut all the pages to size, I used india ink and a paint brush to add the ink spills to some of the pages. Right now, not every page has ink. I thought it would be a good idea to leave some of them blank. This way, I can put the ink in particular shapes later, as needed.
I’m excited to start tangling!
