I saw some really cute, woodland pins in Hobby Lobby the other day. I decided to get them because they were on sale. My thinking was that I could use them as “journal jewelry”.
To attach it to the cover, I punched a tiny hole with a 3/16ths punch in the lower corner of my nano Traveler’s notebook. Then I inserted the post of the pin and pushed on the backing.
I wanted to be able to remove and/or change the pin if I chose, so glueing it on wasn’t really an option.

While I realized it might add a little bulk to the book, it added a bit more than I planned on. I’m not sure if there is a way to make it less bulky on the backside or not.
If you have any suggestions, feel free to leave them as a comment on the post on my Facebook page!
