Miss Bunny.
I’m sure you know that even though I do a lot of tangling, I also do other kinds of art. For examples of another kind, you can look at the Art Journal Pages gallery .
One of my favorite things to do is cut up printed or painted (or stamped!) paper into shapes and make pictures out of it. So I decided to indulge in a couple of my loves to creat and easter card!
Here, I’ve made a bunny paper doll, and then dressed her in her easter best. The paper doll and the clothing are separate so I can dress her in other outfits as the mood strikes. Also, she is not glued to the background, so I can change that, too.
These are so much fun to do. I generally end up with a fairly good-sized wardrobe for them after a while. I like to keep them in page protectors in a smaller sized (5.5" x 8.25") ring binder. I generally keep the doll and the clothes together in one protector. When I want to play with them, I can take out the binder and easily find the one I want.
The finished, dressed dolls can be used for greeting cards, picture book illustrations, printed paper dolls for the grand kids, or even decorative posters.
Happy Easter to everyone!
